Brazilian Blackheart, Zollernia spp., is an amazing and dense hardwood also known as Pau Santo. It comes from a medium sized tree that can grow as large as 100 feet tall with diameters of 2-3 feet. Many of its qualities as well as its density are similar to Lignum Vitae. This very rare species can cause skin irritability in some. It has no odor.
